Dee Lee: Keynote Speaker and Panelist
Financial educator, author and radio talk show host on Boston’s WBZ News Radio 1030-AM
Dee Lee is an advocate for financial literacy. She is experienced in motivating and educating consumers to take charge of their financial future. Gifted in speaking to audiences who possess differing degrees of financial sophistication, Dee's talks offer something for everyone. She has authored several books including Women & Money, where she discusses the financial roles women take on during their lifetimes. Gifted in speaking to a wide range of audiences, Dee’s talks offer something for everyone.
Dan Hebert: Panelist
Executive, educator and volunteer of NH Jump$tart
Dan is a former senior-level banking executive, serves on the National Consumers League in Washington, D.C. and is currently the Northeast Regional Director for NH Jump$tart – a coalition devoted to educating youth on personal finance. Dan’s classroom presentations teach students how to develop sound, personal budgeting practices. In addition to working one-on-one with students, Dan also serves as the Vice-Chair of the NH Higher Education Assistance Foundation -- an organization that facilitates student loans to Granite State students.
Wendy Thomas: Panelist
Journalist, mother of 6 and thrift-lifestyle expert
Wendy is a journalist who wrote a long running column for The Nashua Telegraph: Simple Thrift. It described simple, real, honest-to-goodness things you can do to save money, because after awhile even pennies add up. As a mother of 6, being thrifty has been a way of life for Wendy. She has shared tips on her coupon-savvy and frugal lifestyle with NH audiences on WMUR, NH Public Radio, WZID and she currently writes the Family Finance column for Parenting New Hampshire. Wendy is a firm believer that having fun and creativity does not need to break the bank.
