Event Description

The 2012 Tour will encompass the grounds of Strawbery Banke Museum, the Governor John Langdon House, Prescott Park, and Peirce Island. In addition to access to the Fairy House sites, the price of admission entitles visitors to access to the historic houses at Strawbery Banke Museum and the Governor Langdon House.

This year the tour will take place Saturday, September 15, 9:00-1:00pm and Sunday, September 16, 11:00-3:00 pm.

Tickets will go on sale over the summer.

Children (3-12) advance $4, day of tour $5
Adults advance $10, day of tour $15
Seniors (62+) advance $8, day of tour $10
Family advance $20, day of tour N/A

Fairy houses are small structures for fairies and nature’s friends to visit. Fairy houses are made out of natural materials such as sticks, bark, dry grasses, pebbles, shells, feathers, seaweed, pine cones and nuts. Ranging from rustic to intricate, these whimsical habitats are built by children, families, gardeners and nature lovers reflecting their creativity, joy and pride.
