Experience how the Homestead Woodworking School makes perfect circles with a lathe. Alan Mitchell, the schools founder and director, will demonstrate how to make spinning tops. Visitors may even score a souvenir.
This is the first in a series of summer events held in conjunction with the Secrets of Circles traveling exhibit which is on display at the SEE Science Center through September 9th 2012. There is no additional cost for this event or the Circles exhibit above regular admission to SEE.
The Homestead Woodworking School is located in Newmarket NH. The school offers a variety of classes for novice, intermediate, and advanced woodworkers who are eager to improve their skills. Offerings also include kid’s camps. For more information, visit www.woodschoolnh.com.
