Submission guidelines

Parenting New Hampshire welcomes submissions of non-fiction essays, poetry or vignettes for possible publication in our Chit Chat section. Pieces should be 500-800 words, and the subject matter should be related to being a parent.

If you’re interested in writing articles for Parenting New Hampshire, submit your inquiry, along with samples of your writing to the address below.

Be sure to include your name, address, day and evening phone numbers and your e-mail address. Individual replies are not always possible due to the volume of mail we get. First preference is given to local writers and those writing about topics pertaining to parenting in New Hampshire.

Events:

If your organization is having a family friendly event that is open to the public, let us know. You can submit the information via e-mail or postal mail to the addresses below or go to the events tab on this site.

The deadline for event submissions for the print publication is the first of the previous month (i.e. July 1 for the August issue), however you are welcome to post your event on this site at any time.
