In April, President Barack Obama signed into law the Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act, which established Sept. 11 as a national Day of Service and Remembrance.



This Friday marks the 8th anniversary of the terror attacks that killed more than 3,000 people in New York, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania.
