JW Tumbles closed

I'm sad to report that, according to the Union Leader, JW Tumbles in Manchester has closed after two years. The franchise owners cited the economy as a factor.

Marking the day: Sept. 11

In April, President Barack Obama signed into law the Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act, which established Sept. 11 as a national Day of Service and Remembrance.



This Friday marks the 8th anniversary of the terror attacks that killed more than 3,000 people in New York, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania. I cannot name a person who can't immediately say where they were and what they were doing when they heard the news. I will never forget the fear that I felt that day.

A fight, a kiss and an ice cream
