Research fellowships awarded to local students
MANCHESTER — UNH Manchester students Daniel Pepin of Manchester, and Rebecca Lee of Merrimack, have been awarded Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowships by the University of New Hampshire.

Beaver Brook Association offers Community Garden Plots
Beaver Brook Association is offering prepared garden plots at Maple Hill Farm on 117 Ridge Road in Hollis.
Each plot is 20’x20’ in size. The rental fee is $50 and allows access from May until Nov. 30. Friends of Beaver Brook supporters are eligible for garden plots. Those who are interested can visit the garden area just north of the parking lot and compost court.

Squam Lakes Natural Science Center to open for the season early
HOLDERNESS - Squam Lakes Natural Science Center will open its doors to the public earlier than usual this year.
Starting Monday, April 26, through Friday, April 30, the Gephart Exhibit Trail will be open to the public.
Hours will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with the last trail admission at 2 p.m. The Center’s regular hours of 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (last admission at 3:30 p.m.) will resume on May 1 and continue until the season ends Nov. 1.
