Children’s Museum's 'Dollar Deal Night' debuts Oct. 5

DOVER – On the first Friday night of each month during the school year, the Children’s Museum of NH will open its doors to visitors for just $1 per person.

The first Dollar Deal Night is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 5, when the museum will be open from 5:30 to  8 p.m., offering families a low-cost night out together. The Children’s Museum is not normally open at night, so this is also a special treat to visit after-hours and enjoy creative play before bedtime.

The Children’s Museum of NH recently re-opened following two weeks of annual maintenance and exhibit updates. The building’s hardwood floors were all refinished, most exhibits got a coat of new paint and new decorations, and one exhibit area was completely transformed. In the “What In the World” exhibit, children can now pack their bags for travel adventure and see themselves flying, floating and climbing using green-screen technology.
