Events, features and things to do for families in New Hampshire

Physical therapists from Sport & Spine Physical Therapy will host free monthly runners' clinics, beginning on Thursday, Oct. 4, from 5 to 7 pm at Runners' Alley in Portsmouth. This kick-off event, part of National Physical Therapy Month, also celebrates the exciting new partnership between Sport & Spine Physical Therapy and Runners' Alley.

Sport & Spine's physical therapists will be onsite at Runners' Alley, 104 Congress St., in Portsmouth, on the first Thursday evening of each month, answering customers' questions, providing advice and discussing how to prevent and treat running injuries.

“Our physical therapists believe strongly in the importance of regular physical activity, and we're helping Seacoast-area residents stay strong, healthy and injury-free.  We're confident that everyone from casual to competitive runners will find value in these free monthly sessions at Runners Alley, as our trained experts will offer proven advice on a variety of health and wellness topics," said Dr. Chris Campbell, Physical Therapist and Owner of Sport & Spine Physical Therapy.

"At these sessions, our physical therapists will discuss areas such as proper running form, the importance of proper footwear, how to prevent and treat common running injuries and much more.  We'll also provide tips based on customers' specific questions and concerns," Dr. Campbell continued.
