Peterborough Fireworks Display to be Held on Saturday, July 7, 2012

PETERBOROUGH, NH - The Annual Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce Fireworks, sponsored by The Petersons, Inc., and in cooperation with the Town of Peterborough, will be held this year on Saturday, July 7th, at the ConVal Athletic Fields on Route 202, Peterborough. The rain date is July 14. As always, an amazing pyrotechnic display will be provided by Atlas PyroVision.

 

There will be concession stands run by local non-profit organizations, serving hamburgers, hotdogs, soft drinks, and more. Local Greenfield favorites “The Boogie Men” will provide upbeat, danceable music before the fireworks display. This year, wristband sponsor Joseph’s Coat will be offering a discount to attendees who later bring their admissions wristband to the store.

Gates open at 6 pm, and the fireworks display will begin at dusk. Walk-up admission is only $3 per person, with no family paying more than $10. There will be premier parking in the ConVal parking lot for $15 per carload.

 

Because the event is held on school property, no alcohol, tobacco products, firearms, sparklers, or pets are allowed. PLEASE NOTE that parking, sitting, and standing alongside Route 202 and adjacent grassy areas will not be allowed. There will be free parking at SMS.
