Wondering how to prepare your kids for camp this summer?

Don't forget to pick up the March issue of Parenting NH, which will feature a special section containing articles and advice for parents, such as how to choose the best summer program, getting ready for camp, preparing kids for the first time away from home, what to pack and more.

If you can't grab a copy of the March issue ahead of time, we'll have plenty on hand at the Summer Camp and Program Expos.

Why summer camp?

If your child wants to explore something new or develop an existing interest, summer camps offer a great opportunity to learn in a fun environment. Summer camps also help create memories and friends that will last a lifetime.

What kind of summer camps or programs will be at the Expos?

More than 50 camps will exhibit at the three Summer Camp and Program Expo such as:

  • Adventure and travel camps
  • Educational camps
  • Arts and crafts cramps
  • Performing arts camps
  • Science and nature camps
  • Dance, gymnastics and movement camps
  • Special needs camps
  • Day and overnight camps
  • Sports, fitness and recreation camps
  • Early childhood camps

Why attend Parenting NH's Summer Camp & Programs Expo?

Gain peace of mind knowing that you can meet with the people who will be watching over your children this summer. Each Expo offers a unique opportunity for parents and children to talk with the counselors and professionals who can answer all the questions you may have about what your children will learn – and what you need to know to plan for your child's experience in both day and overnight programs.

And as an added bonus…

When you visit the Camp Fair Expos, be sure to pick up an entry for a chance to win one of three great prizes: $150 Hannaford gift card, $100 Target gift card or $50 gas card. A winner will be drawn from each location and will be notified within one week of the event.
